The Hozelock Aquaforce 6000 is a filter and waterfall pump that can move more than a 1000 gallons of water each hour. It will provide an impressive waterfall for a medium sized pond. Made by Hozelock a British manufacturer with a proven track record it is designed to run 24/7 taking the dirty water from your pond and pumping it into a filter (purchased separately).
The innovative cage that surrounds the pump has large holes in the outside that allow it to suck in particles of up to 10mm in size, these then pass straight through the pump and into a filter. Larger particles remain in the pond and so won't damage the pump. It will take a very long time for the pump to block up and require cleaning but when it does the cage opens easily without the need for tools. You can then squirt out the inside with a hose and get it back into operation in a few moments.
This is the smallest model in the range that has a secondary inlet so you can attach a skimmer or satellite strainer, letting you draw water from two parts of the pond at the same time.
