Lythrum salicaria
Description: The stem of this plant is squared and reddish-purple. Its leaves are lance-like and the tip of the stem is clustered with small, reddish-purple flowers.
Other Common Names: Spiked Loosestrife.
Origin: Found in Europe, Asia, northwest Africa, and southeastern Australia.
