Rudd are an omnivorous bottom-dwelling shoaling fish, and are widely spread across Europe and middle Asia.

Rudd prefer to live in a pond with plenty of vegetation, and are ideal for an average sized native nature pond. They are quite a shy fish and may only accept sinking foods.
