Pond Dipping Revisited

20th Oct 2020

Following on from our recent blog on Pond Dipping here's a great little video from Oase's YouTube channel of the  Staffordshire Wildlife Trust doing a spot of dipping themselves. You can see that the average pond is absolutely teeming with amazing little creatures. Pond Dipping really is the perfect way to keep the kids occupied while educating too (just what’s needed in these lockdown times and through half term).

In this short video he discovers fascinating fauna with weird and wonderful names like Cyclops Water Fleas, Hoglouse, Phantom Midge Larvae and even Blood Worms! Take a look at our  Previous Blog to find out what you need and how to pond dip - and check out the  Pond Nets on our site to get just the one you need.
