This pump will charge when the sun is shining. You can set it to run either in the day or at night time using a button on the solar panel. It's better for ponds to have air added during the night as this can be when oxygen levels are at their lowest.
Being solar means that you can position the pump easily and there will be no running costs. Suitable for a small to medium sized pond. The solar panel will work in direct sunlight, either charging the battery for use later or simply to drive the pump .
