The secret of perfect oxygen supply in ponds is a system that generates smaller, finer bubbles. Smaller air bubbles rise more slowly in the pond than large ones and hence create a more intensive transfer of atmospheric oxygen into the pond water.
So what is the right choice for your pond? An aerator bar or aerator ring? Aerator bars work a little more discreetly than aerator rings, so they are often the best choice in smaller ponds or where a ring would not be the right fit (in larger ponds an aeration ring might sometimes be a prefered option).
