Description: The unsubmerged leaves of this plant are large, up to 20cm across, and lance-shaped. The central, upright stem is topped with a showy spike of small blue-violet flowers.
Other Common Names: Pickerelweed.
Origin: Found across the Americas from Eastern Canada to Southern Argentina.
