Hippuris vulgaris
Description: A creeping oxygenating plant, which prefers to root underwater with its foliage above the surface. The leaves are thin and blue-green.
Other Common Names: Common Mare's Tail, Horsetail.
Origin: Eurasia and North America.
Height: Up to 50cm, usually about 20cm protrudes above the surface of the water.
Spread: 50cm.
