The revolutionary ProfiClear Premium Drum Filter is an automatically self-cleaning modular system that can deliver crystal clear water - removing particles down to as little as 60µm - that's less than the width of a human hair! It can do this while handling a flow through of up to 25000lph. Available in 2 versions - Gravity Fed and Pump Fed, the automatic self-cleaning drum filter is the beating heart at the centre of a modular system around which you can build the perfect filter set up for your needs.
Dirty pond water enters into the drum filter system and passes through the 60µm screens. Screens this fine under normal circumstances would lead to a build-up of particles which would soon block the system. Here however, a sensor constantly monitors the build-up of dirt and particles and as soon as it detects that the water flow is being reduced, the self-cleaning mechanism is triggered - which cleans the screens with jets of water. Pollutant rakes also remove string algae and other pollutants, meaning that service time is kept to an absolute minimum, leaving you with more time for other jobs, or to just enjoy your pond.
