The unit itself is brand new and undamaged, however, it has sustained some damage to the inlet, outlet and sludge drain fittings during transit. This is purely transit damage and does not affect the main filter unit.

Please note the following regarding the damage:

The inlet and outlet fittings are cracked and will require replacement.
We are supplying brand new replacement inlet and outlet fittings with the unit, which you can fit and replace yourself
The sludge drain fitting is also cracked. A replacement sludge drain fitting is not included.
The damage to the sludge drain does not affect the functionality of the filter. Once suitable pipework is fitted over the sludge drain (pipework not included), it will continue to function normally.
The main filter body and all other components are brand new and undamaged.

Proficlear Premium Compact-L EGC - Pump Fed

Using technology from the highly successful and popular Proficlear Premium automated Drum Filter and Moving Bed Biological Filter, OASE Germany have packed all the same great features into one easy to maintain box. This unit is ideal for Koi ponds of up to 30,000 litres (6,600 gallons), goldfish ponds of up to 60,000 litres (13,200 gallons) and nature ponds of up to 120,000 litres (26,396 gallons).

The self-cleaning drum technology can remove solids down to as little as 60 microns (60 thousandths of a millimetre) that's around half the thickness of a human hair. It then flushes the waste away using a small amount of pond water. The moving bed filter contains the new Hel-X 13 media that have a significantly enlarged surface area. This aids in the growth of beneficial bacteria and increases the rate at which they can remove harmful ammonia, nitrite and other pollutants. A powerful air pump is needed to make the media move and create the "fluidised bed."

This pump fed module is designed to be set up above ground and have the outlet of the filter feeding back into the pond or on to a waterfall. A Bitron C UV or a Bitron Eco UV can be mounted on the inlet to effectively clump together the algae before it enters the drum.

The Proficlear Premium Compact-L EGC also features a digital control module through which you can perform a number of useful functions.
