Lots of Pond Vacuums suck up the muck and sludge from your pond and then deposit it, through a hose, onto your flowerbeds or down the drain. This is fine but it means you always have to top your pond up when you've finished and pond vacuums can suck up quite a lot of water.
With the Hozelock Pond Vac Collection Basket the hose from your vacuum goes into the top, and a clever mesh strainer bag then collects all the dirt, letting clean water flow back into your pond. The bag can then be emptied onto the compost heap and there should be no need to top up your pond.
