How to Make a Wildlife Pond when Stuck for Space

5th Feb 2021

Continuing our theme of wildlife ponds and how installing a pond really is the best method of encouraging great British wildlife to thrive and flourish, here’s a little video showing how you can make the most of even a small space in your garden to create the perfect little wildlife pond.

You can clearly see that although Mandy’s pond is only a small one, it has clearly grown some spectacular plants! It’s good that Mandy mentions that she has created a sloping edge. Known as wildlife escape routes, it’s important to include these in your nature pond and many preformed ponds come with wildlife escape routes incorporated into their design. Mandy also mentions Barley Straw. One of our new products for 2021 is this great Bermuda Barley Straw.
