Here’s a handy little video that shows how easy it is to change the UV bulb on your EasyClear. UV bulb only have a certain effective lifespan so they have to be changed regularly to ensure they are fully effective. Depending on usage A UV bulb will only be operating to full effectiveness for between about 6 to 10 months, so we usually recommend that you change your bulbs every spring.

Remember that even though your UV bulb lights up it may still not be working effectively. Follow the instructions and essential tips in this video (such as never to handle the bulb, and use the bubble wrap the bulb is packaged in to avoid contact), and you’ll be able to change your bulb with ease and enjoy many trouble free years of crystal clear water.
