The Hozelock Aquaforce 12000 is a powerful pump for larger ponds. It is designed to run take water from the pond to a waterfall and/or to a filter for cleaning. Manufactured by Hozelock who are a British company with a great reputation the Aquaforce is one of their most popular pumps. It has a 3 year guarantee and it is very easy to maintain. Running costs are low for the power of the pump and it features a clever system to protect baby fish and tadpoles.

The pump is enclosed in an easy-to-open cage with 10mm holes in it. Water and muck is drawn into the cage, leaving larger particles in the pond to protect the working of the pump from damage. This dirty water then pumps into a filter if you have one or down a waterfall. There is an inner cage included with the pump that can be fitted if needed. This has smaller holes and will prevent tadpoles or baby fish from being drawn in. You can use it for a few months each year while they are present in the pond then take out the extra cage when they grow up a bit. Hozelock call this their Wildlife Protection System (WPS).

This pump is designed to run day and night 365 days a year. It comes with a secondary inlet so for attaching a skimmer or satellite strainer.
