Spitting features are statues which sit in or around the pond and deliver a steady stream of water back into the pond.

They are fed by a pump, submerged in the pond water which is attached via a hose to the statue’s inlet. The correct pump size should be considered, this is usually stated by the spitting feature’s manufacturer. There are many different varieties of spitters available which can be chosen to complement the style of the pond and add interest, intrigue or humour.
