The Velda Laser Guard Electronic Heron Deterrent is an ingenious, hi tech and effective way to keep Herons and other pests at bay.

The Laser Guard detects intruders up to 12 metres away and in a 100° arc. It then employs a series of deterrent measures including a fast flashing light (almost a strobing effect), designed to disorientate herons and other intruders. If the unwanted visitor isn’t seen off by that, next is a circular array of green laser light, which herons will perceive as solid moving objects. Finally an assortment of sounds will play from the loudspeaker designed to further deter any interlopers.
