Mentha aquatica

Description: The leaves of the water mint are quite broad, somtimes hairy and can have a purple colouration. The tiny, light pink-purple flowers are crowded into rounded bunches towards the top and at the tip of the plant's stem. The leaves and flowers have a miny smell.

Origin: Native to most parts of Europe, Northwest Africa and Southwest Asia.
