This evergreen plant is excellent for groundcover. At only 10 cm tall, it is not to be confused with it's giant relative Gunnera manicata which is over 2 m tall.

This evergreen plant is excellent for groundcover. At only 10 cm tall, it is not to be confused with it's giant relative Gunnera manicata which is over 2 m tall.
Remove the plant from the pot, and plant in damp ground, in a hole deep enough to accommodate the root ball.
Trim back dead foliage in Autumn.
